The Shelby American Online Magazine

SAAC members have access to The Shelby American, the club's on-line magazine. Four issues are printed each year, Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall and are available to members as soon as they are posted. Members are advised by this by way of an e-mailed notice or newsletter. At the end of each year all four issues are printed as a 300+ page full color annual which is automatically mailed to every member.

If you are not a SAAC member, join today and enjoy these magazine issues. They are packed with articles about historical, technical and current events subjects unlike anything printed anywhere else. SAAC's magazine has been continuously published since 1976. Writers are the most knowledgeable enthusiasts in the country. Guest authors such as Peter Brock and Chuck Cantwell regularly contribute their thoughts and articles which make the magazine an award-winner.

The current issue appears in the Members Area menu on the left (a menu choice you will ONLY see if you are logged in as a member), at the top of the list. As new issues are added, prior issues will be pushed down on the list.

How do I read the magazine?

The Shelby American magazine is presented as Acrobat (PDF) files. You must have Adobe Reader installed on your computer. This program is free and can be downloaded by clicking on the button to the left.

Each article in the Table of Contents, when clicked, will open in a new window. Adjust the Zoom Factor for comfortable reading. When you are done with one article, just close the window and move on to the next.

In order to minimize download time, larger articles are broken up into sections (Part 1, Part 2, etc.)
